Above ground pools being installed on uneven or sloped grades will first need the area leveled out, this usually done by adding a retainer wall and/or regrading. A deck can then be built around the pool.

If some sort of platform has to be built for a pool to rest on, check with a local engineer or architect. In addition, always check with your local building department for the town requirements on pools and deck installations.
