Absent are the railings from the lower level, creating openness and a non-obstructive view. Planters decorate the lower deck while the floorboards lay across it at an angle. A beautifully shaped step between the top and lower levels adds visual interest to the design.
The charming upper level deck has a 6-foot bench that can easily be moved around. Designed for a large size grill and a couple of chairs, the top level performs as a shapely transition between the home and the lower level deck. The contrasting angled decking further enhances the 90-degree deck corners and the straight railing lines.
