This sprawling deck has space to entertain and a whole lot more. Its sunk-in lower level, oversize planters and remarkable design make for some good conversation starters.
The L-Shape top deck partially surrounds the lower sunk-in level creating a unique looking wrap around step-up between levels. A side entrance staircase to the upper level forms a direct foot traffic path to and from the home. The lower decks 5-foot wide staircase and two large planters help frame out a non-obstructive view of the yard. The shape of the lower level creates a wonderful table area complimenting the top level's floor space. 90-degree deck corners wrap the outside of the deck contrasting the angled laid decking for visual interest. To bring the deck together with the yard, the plans call for a couple of planters to be built and sporadically placed on the lower or upper level.
