A downloadable deck plan that sets a precedent in double level layouts is this design, featuring an oversized table area, a 45-degree staircase and beautiful angle laid decking.
The lower deck is a nice departure from the upper level, which maintains a direct traffic pattern to and from the home and yard. The proximity of the top deck in relationship to the lower main seating area helps keep bothersome smoke from grills away from seated guests. The single rise between the two decks gives way to a smooth transition between the deck levels while the 45-degree corners with angle laid decking gives precedent over lesser designed decks sharing the same deck footprint.
