45-degree corners create a bayed like appearance for the one side of the deck and soften the decks railing lines while adding interest to its shape. Angled on the one corner, the staircase adds interest and leads views onto this 374 square foot deck. Installing the staircase to the opposite side of the table area keeps foot traffic patterns from disturbing any seated guests. A standard laid decking pattern further increases the visual interest of this deck by adding contrast to the 45-degree deck corners.
