If you're the type that prefers to walk right up the staircase and onto the deck not taking too many turns on the way, this deck plan may be right for you. Its simple layout creates a foot traffic pattern that flows from the front or side yard and up to the deck.
In this design, a side staircase enters onto an offset landing that?s built off of the main deck area. This landing keeps entering and exiting foot traffic distant from the main table and seating areas and in direct line with the home. Seated guests will feel more at ease sitting or standing near a landing as opposed to an open flight of stairs. The 45 and 90-degree angles incorporated into the deck?s shape adds visual interest to the design while a standard laid decking pattern further compliments the angles, bringing the entire design together.
